Spider Lily the Decorative Plant

This beautiful flower is called spider lily in English (Crinum asiaticum L.). it is widely used as decorative plants, and can easily adapt to its surrounding. It has various flower color, from white, yellow, orange, pink, red, purple, and sometimes also found in dotted motives, but most of it has white flowers.

Spider lily may grow in forest habitat, mountainous, or in grassy. The big flower has three petals, and having a steady bark. Right now there are approximately 100 species in Liliaceae family.

Spider Lily can stand to heat, no wonder in the tropics country I live, spider lily is used most in gardens.

Shame Plant for Asthma and Insomnia

Shame Plant (Mimosa pudica Duchass.) is a very typical plant. We can see it anywhere around us, especially if you live in tropics.

When being touched, Shame Plant will fold the leaves side one into another, shaping like sleeping grass.

The alkaloid, amino acid and saponin in Shame Plant can release or widen the respiratory canal and handling insomnia.

Insomnia :

One piece of shame plant, dried. milled then braise with hot water.

Add black or sweet dill ( 5-7 pcs).

Drink while stil warm

Asthma :

10 grams of dried shame plants herbs, braise with 100 ml water, boiled for 15 minutes. Drink 3 times a day 1-2 tablespoon.
