Patch To Reduce Chemotherapy Nausea
It is not easy dealing with chemotherapy. Most patients will have bad feeling in stomach ache till vomiting after the chemotherapy, some even will puke after it. Good news came from FDA, in September 15th 2008, FDA had agreed to publication of Sancuso. Sancuso is a plaster/patch that is able to reduce the stomach sick after chemotherapy.
It is different with pills, this plaster is applied on arm. Sancuso plaster contains granicetron. Granicetron will get into body through skin. This can be a good solvent for chemotherapy patients, because sick feeling will make it hard for patients to consume pills. If the patient feel comfort in their stomach, it is hoped that he/she will have appetite for dining, thus the energy of body will increase, and emotionally they will be more stable.
Unfortunately, Sancuso may cause constipation. In some cases, this condition has a serious digest obstruction
