Samantha Geimer Charges Against Roman Polanki to be Dismissed ?

Samantha Geimer is leading the headlines these days following her request over charges against Roman Polanski to be dismissed. Roman Polanski is a movie director, and has won the Oscar in 2002 for his movie The Pianist.
Concerning with the charge, Polanski was arrested in last September 26th, at Zurich airport. Roman Polanski was reported still in the middle of his way to receive ‘a lifetime achievement award’ in Zurich Film Festival.
The case was back in 1978. Samantha Geimer was thirteen years that time.
The case it self then just like disappear just like that when Polanski fled the United States to avoid charges from Geimer. It has been over thirty years now since the case was rolled. Geimer stated that the case has caused harm to her family, her husband and her children, and that’s why she wants the case to be dismissed.

Greimer, 45 now, was reportedly told the court in a written statement:
“If Polanski cannot stand before the court to make this request, I, as the victim, can and I, as the victim do. I have urged that this matter come to a formal legal end. I have urged that the district attorney and the court dismiss these charges.”
Samantha Geimer may want the case to be frozen, but the court has sentenced Polanski must come in person.
