National Coffee Day 2009
As I told you a few times before, I love coffee, and I can’t imagine passing a single day without at least a cup of coffee, especially when my coffee is blended with chocolate or latte. And to tell you the truth, frozen coffee/cappuccino is the coffee blend I love the mos.
I guess that there’s no part in the world that NOT knowing coffee. Coffee has been so popular that in USA in every October 29th, is a special day which is dealing with coffee. It is called The National Coffee Day.
No wonder in this day, almost all restaurants and any food fest had been preparing the various recipe of coffee, it can be frozen coffee, coffee milk shake, and many more.
Written below are some recipe of coffee milk shake that we can make on our own, hope it’ll be useful for you

Coffee Milkshake from Recipe Source
3 cups of coffee ice cream
1 cup of milk
½ teaspoon of vanilla extract
Combine all ingredients in container of an electric blender; blend mixture until smooth. Serve immediately. NOTE: 3 cups vanilla ice cream and 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules may be substituted for coffee ice cream, if desired.
Coffee Milk Shake for Two from A Better Cup
1 pint of cold milk
1 scoop of ice-cream
1 level tablespoon of instant coffee
Sugar to taste
Begin by pouring the milk into the blender. Now add the ice cream, the coffee and a little sugar and process for about half a minute or until smooth. After this add a little more sugar if necessary; then pour into glasses and serve. Delicious.
This Week In Munchies‘ Ice Coffee Milkshake
1 scoop of vanilla ice cream
2 teaspoons of sugar
1 espresso shot (or one tablespoon of instant coffee)
2-4 teaspoons of caramel syrup (more for topping)
1 1/2 cups of milk?6 ice cups or so
Dump all of the above into a blender and blend.??Whipped Cream: confectioner’s sugar, heavy cream, whisk, and quite a bit of upper arm strength.
Grown-Up Milkshake from The Neelys only takes 5 minutes and yields 4 servings
8 to 10 scoops vanilla ice cream
1 part white chocolate liqueur
1 part coffee liqueur
1 part brandy
Whipped cream, for garnish
Shaved chocolate, for garnish
Scoop ice cream into a blender. Pour in white chocolate liqueur, coffee liqueur, and brandy. Make sure the top of the blender is tightly in place and blend until smooth. Pour into glasses and serve topped with whipped cream and shaved chocolate. Cook’s Tip: Use more scoops of ice cream, if you want a thicker shake.
Michael Chiarello‘s Spiked Milkshakes serve 6 and only take 5 minutes to make
6 ounces coffee-flavored liqueur (recommended: Kahlua)
6 ounces dark rum
6 tablespoons malt powder, plus extra for garnish
6 scoops chocolate ice cream
12 ounces bittersweet chocolate, shaved
12 ounces seltzer
3 tablespoons coffee beans, crushed (recommended: espresso roast beans)
In a blender, combine the coffee liqueur, dark rum, malt, ice cream and chocolate shavings. Blend until frothy. Pour into 6 glasses, top off with 2 ounces of seltzer, and garnish with the crushed coffee beans and a pinch of malt and serve immediately.
