Luntas (Indian camphorweed)
This plant is called luntas or sometimes beluntas in Indonesian. Beluntas (Pluchea indica (L.) Less.) has a typical scent, with the plant height can reach up to 2m.

Beluntas grows in dry area and needs a lot of direct sunshine. In villages and in old days, this Indian camphorweed is used as fence. It has a short leaf in light green color. The flower is small in purple color.
Beluntas contains alkaloid and atsiri oil, and widely used as jamoo ( javanese term to call a certain kind of traditional medication).
The advantages of beluntas are :
• eliminating body odor ( consumed directly)
• healing intestine disturbance in children and increasing appetite (10-15 grams leaves mixed in rice/porridge
• soothing body temperate ( braise beluntas leaves, filter and drink)
• scabies
