History of Capoeira

Capoeira is predicted appearing in around sixteenth century. The blend of dance and music instrument into a complete art has made capoeira easily recognized.

Capoeira is a very dynamic and harmonious performance with it’s beautiful dance and song. The couple who practicing Capoeira looks like a dancing couple. The circle kicks and jumps which is played by dancers will certainly enchant people who witness it.

Some history experts of Capoeira considers that Capoeira was genuinely made by slaves from Africa, such as Yoruba, Bantu, Angola, Congo and Mozambique. In that time, it was said that African slaves was suffering under pressure.

Punishment and gallows had thread them. But their spirits stayed alive burying the depression. They felt challenged, and created dances Capoeira.
Capoeira was then growing, when the Angolan slaves wandered up to Brazil.
